Please read these Terms of Service carefully before downloading, accessing, or using Michi Health.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Michi Health ("the App" or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Not Medical Advice (Crucial Disclaimer)

Michi Health is an all-condition recovery companion app designed to assist with physical, cognitive, and multi-faceted recovery paths. The Service does not provide professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or recovery plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or accessed through Michi Health. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
  • Submit false, misleading, or inappropriate information during your triage assessments or daily check-ins.
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the App.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to recovery plan generation algorithms, UI designs, and games) are and will remain the exclusive property of Michi Health and its licensors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Michi Health, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, that result from the use of, or inability to use, this service or any recovery plans generated within it.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
